The Health and Safety ADA Access Grants are solely for equal access grants for facility repairs and alterations at K-12 public schools, including skill centers, to improve compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Districts are limited to one grant only, not to exceed $150,000 per three-year period. The minimum application amount is $10,000. If your district received funding in the 2023-25 biennium, you are not eligible to apply in 2025. Grant applications are available in EGMS, Form Package 500. All grants must be completed and claimed in the biennium received. The 2025 Legislature provided $5,000,000 for this program.
